In addition to our custom amps, we offer many services to the discriminating player. We've listed some of them below. Contact us if you have something in mind not listed on this page.

Amp Repair & Restoration

We can fix it! We do cap jobs, bias adjustments for new tubes, and resurrections on amps that have died. We have brought several old amps back from the dead and can do the same for you. We can restore previously modded vintage amps back to their vintage specs, and recover ripped up Tolex cabinets and anything else to make your vintage amp "shine" again.

Kit Building

You buy it, We build it!

Is there an amp you'd like to own, but can't afford the real thing? Now you can own your very own, handwired replica! If you would like to buy a kit, but are not comfortable with the risks of building it yourself (there are lethal voltage near 500V inside a tube amp!), send it to us (or have it drop-shipped) and we will do it for you at a very reasonable cost. We build all kinds of amps and will deliver the same guaranteed build quality found in our own custom amps. See our links page for a few vendors that offer great amp kits. Modifications

We can modify existing amps to improve/change their tone and/or add more gain. If you have an amp you would like to mod, we can probably do it. Just don't ask us to mod a vintage amp. We frown upon that sort of activity. If you really need a "hot-rodded amp" please consider leaving your vintage amp intact, and having the exact amp you want custom built by us (or by one of our many competitors). The collectors will thank you!

PCB -> Hand-Wired

We can rewire PCB (Printed Circuit Board) amps and turn them into hand-wired boutique amps using point-to-point wiring and top-grade materials. In other words, install the components the manufacturer should have used, but didn't in order to undercut the competition's manufacturing costs and/or mass produce their product. Please keep in mind that sometimes it is simply a matter of economics to whether it cost effective to perform this type of work.

Custom Head and Speaker Cabinets

Have a new amp build but don't have a cabinet (head case) to put it in? Send us your requirements and measurements and we can custom build you a standard or a "one-of-a-kind" cabinet. There are many different colors/grains of Tolex to choose from, as well as hardware, baffle materials, etc. We can also build a matching cabinet for your amp in almost any configuration.

Pricing and Shipping terms

Service/mod/repair work is $40 per hour with a 1/2 hour minimum. Bench evaluations are free. We're not going to charge you to plug the amp up and listen to it. Most service work only takes 1-2 hours. Custom build work is billed at the same rate. Please do not ask us or expect us to rush our work to cut costs! Both safety and reliability are huge factors for us... and should be for you too!

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We ship FedEx or USPS, insured. UPS shipments to us are at your own risk! We DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING VIA UPS, and prefer not to receive packages from them, but will if absolutely necessary. Here's why!

Current turnaround times

For custom amp builds: 8-10 weeks from date of first cleared deposit.

For repairs & modifications: 1-2 weeks.

For basic servicing (retubes, biasing, etc.): Same day (your tubes), 3 days (our tubes)
